Flower farmers and motorists plying the Moi South lake road in Naivasha are up in arms over the poor status of the busy road.

They have identified the section between Oserian and Kongoni as the most affected and challenged the national government to intervene.

According to one of motorists Eric Kinuthia, the road that leads to several flower farms, lodges and game sanctuary was in deplorable condition.

Kinuthia noted that as a result, they were incurring huge losses everyday and challenged the government to urgently rehabilitate the road.

“This road generates millions of shillings everyday, but both the national and county governments have forgotten it leading to huge losses for motorists,” he said.
